[note] Bren’s Tip! – To save time in the morning, make your oats the night before & leave them in the fridge in a tupperware container. Grab that little bit of extra sleep, and if you start very early like me, you can simply take it with you for breaky on the run! [/note]
Great little recipe my sister gave to me, i’m not sure where she got it, so I have no idea who to acknowledge. Of course, I have put my own spin on it, which you probably will anyway.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 Cup of rolled oats
- 1/3 Cup of boiling water
- 1/3 Cup of Low fat / low sugar yoghurt.
Note: I’m a big guy, and I find 1/3 cup quite filling, the recipe works just fine as a 1/4 cup of all the above ingredients, so just try it and see how much you need.
- 1 teaspoon LSA (Linseed, Soy, Almond meal, in the spices aisle)
- Fruit of your choice, I like banana & raspberries
Instructions.
- Add the boiling water to the oats & LSA.
- Stir in and leave to sit while you prepare the fruit.
- Mix in the yoghurt
- Add the fruit
- Add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup if you like, but it is pretty sweet with the fruit already.
Enjoy!
